UPDATE, and new June shows!
Hello
Friends of Planet Waves,
Our drummer, David (that would be me) suffered a neck/shoulder/arm injury due to a pinched nerve in my neck that required me to sit out over 8 weeks of hell. Well, I'm much better these days and ready to jump back in the saddle. Planet Waves played two shows in April with Jacob Harris sitting behind the kit, and doing a quite admiral job. I'd like to extend a big Thank You to Jacob for sitting in so that we didn't have to cancel those two shows.

UPCOMING
SHOWS:
This Friday, June 20th we play once again at one of our favorite little local venues, Ace Cider Speakeasy, in Sebastopol. Click HERE for directions and a map. It's a geezer hours show, too, 7:30 to 11:00. Did I mention no cover charge?

Five days later, on Wednesday, June 25th, we will be the featured showcase band at the Sonoma County Blues Society Blues Jam held every Wednesday night at Sally Tomatoes in Rohnert Park. Sally Tomatoes has great Italian food, a great stage and sound system. (I should know, my daughter is a cook there.) We play from 7:30 to 8:30. Come for dinner, stay for the show, and cheer for us to play one more song at 8:30. Where is Sally Tomatoes? Well, just click right HERE for written directions, or if you're more visually oriented, here's a map:
Thank
you to all our fans for being fans!

Help Wanted: Photos & Live Recordings
Do we have any fans who are amateur photographers or aspiring recording engineers? We have absolutely zero budget for a photographer or an engineer, but we desperately need some half decent photos and live recordings.
We've had a couple of friends drill off snapshots of us while we play, but we need something just a little bit better- live shots, and perhaps a couple of band portraits, too. We have a couple of Zoom H4n digital recorders, but we're not recording engineers. Some of our live recordings have just barely enough sound quality for posting on web sites, and we're looking for something just a notch higher in the sound quality department.
If anyone out there wants to help out a fast rising local band, please let us know! We may be able to compensate with a meal and/or a drink or two. We'll see if the urn of compensation (tip bucket) provideth us.

It's All Over Now Baby Blue
We all agreed that we had a very good show last night! We introduced Maya from Nine Mile Skid and Skiddles on vocals and percussion, and again we all agreed that she is a welcomed addition to our line-up. Attendance was modest as Zero, Deadicated Maniacs and a vigil for Andy Lopez, the teenager slain by Santa Rosa PD, were all going on simultaneously.
Our next show is coming up on Wednesday, November 27th at the Forestville Club.
