Relay for Life Sebastopol, July 13

Planet Waves and the Cancer Sucks Band played at the Sebastopol (CA) Relay for Life event on July 13th. It was a gorgeous sunny, although windy day. We all had a hard time heaaring, but we all had a great time! I hope we can return next year. Both bands were hoping that Keith Jackson, rhythm guitarist and vocalist in both bands, would make an appearance, but sadly his cancer has progressed and is limiting his appearances.

One other sad note- the Frizell Enos feed store in downtown Sebastopol went up in flames while we were playing. The huge black plume of smoke was clearly visible from the field where we played.
